Hütte HBR GT-2 double-head drilling rig.
Having recently successfully completed our first job with our new Bauer RB65CE universal drilling rig, we are now delighted with our new Hütte HBR 205 GT-2 twin-head drilling rig.
With its crawler tracks and a width of just 2.5 m, it operates reliably even on difficult terrain.
The high retraction force, combined with impressive torque, enables a wide range of applications.
In addition to ‘traditional’ well, geothermal, exploration and gas drilling, the rig is also used – in conjunction with the appropriate grouting technology – for geotechnical drilling to stabilise rock masses and ground conditions in mining, tunnelling and civil engineering. By using suitable grouting materials (cement, polyurethane or hybrids), water ingress can be prevented or minimised. This allows disturbed and unstable rock or loose soils to be stabilised.
This drilling rig is also ideally suited for remediation, securing or consolidation – particularly in old mining sites close to the surface or near the surface.
With an operating weight of less than 22 t on a wide crawler chassis, even critical ground conditions are no problem.
Like our recently launched Bauer RB65CE universal drilling rig, our new twin-head drilling rig meets the highest standards in terms of efficiency, occupational safety and (noise) emissions.
Glückauf!
