Pipelines for transporting media such as drinking water, natural gas, and hydrogen

Energy suppliers and network operators place high demands on steel pipelines, covering both the quality of the pipes and their installation and insulation. These requirements are defined in technical specifications and DVGW worksheets (e.g. GW 301, GW 302, GW 381) and serve to ensure the safety, reliability, and durability of the pipelines.

Steel pipes must meet the respective requirements for their intended use (e.g. drinking water, gas, district heating) and must be protected against corrosion in accordance with media and environmental influences.

In addition to additional requirements regarding gradients, drainage options, and secure mounting, the pipelines must also be installed and surveyed in accordance with DVGW guidelines. The installation work must be documented in a pipeline logbook.

T+S holds certification according to DVGW GW 301 with approval ranges G1 and W1, meaning we are not subject to restrictions regarding pressure or nominal pipe diameter.
